We took a long overdue trip to the farm shortly after school started. It was quick, but sweet. We visited Great Grandpa, and the girls enjoyed a cookie and (trying to) cuddle Barney.

Marjorie and I had fun playing in the treehouse and reading books upstairs.

A favorite memory was driving home from Great Grandpa’s in the rain. Vivi and Brigette rode in the back of the beast and got soaking wet, but they loved it!

We also had a lot of fun riding around in the beast and finding really interesting mushrooms. We tried to identify them and sketch them in our sketchbooks.

We had such a great time. It’s hard to believe it’s already well into fall and that the holidays are around the corner. We can’t wait for cozy nights around the fire!
