Going to the farm is always something to look forward to, especially if your cousins are coming over! This was only the second time that Conner and Mary Wynn had come to the Bluff house, so we were super excited to show them all of the farm’s highlights. This To-Do List just proves how much we had planned.

Summer was approaching, and the blackberries were just starting to come out of their “hibernation.” We quickly headed to some good piking spots, and were able to manage enough blackberries to make a cobbler! Just so you know, blackberry cobbler is AMAZING, especially if you use wild blackberries.

If you glance back to the To-Do List, you can also see TREEHOUSE added to it. That’s right! We (Me(Vivi), Conner, and Brigette) were spending the night! Conner was thrilled, and Ellie was excited to sleep with Marywynn. We headed up to the treehouse soon after supper, and set ourselves up. It was a warm night, so we had all of the fans going. Then, when the parents finally left, we went stargazing out in the crows nest. With Conner on the floor and Me and Brigie in the cots, we slept like babies, and woke up with breakfast on our minds. All-in-all, a successful treehouse sleepover!

The second day, we headed out to the Field of Arrowheads. We scavenged for hours under the hot sun, and even though we didn’t find any real arrowheads, we were able to find some pretty awesome pieces of flint. Conner was happy with our finds.

This trip truly was amazing, and we were all sad to leave. But we knew that we would be back soon, and the farm would be just as we left it.
